Kazakhstan Denies "Otokar ARMA" Claims as Tests Continue
Kazakhstan Defence Ministry denies claims about acquiring 834 8X8 ARMA armoured vehicles from the Turkish Otokar company for $4.4 billion.

The Ministry said there are no agreements on the supply of armoured vehicles and stated that Turkish Otokar is one of the manufacturers of armoured vehicles. The Ministry added that Otokar sends sample vehicles, which are evaluated according to the procedure. The Ministry stated that the competition continues by underlining that other foreign models are also under consideration.
The Ministry asked not to believe fake information and stated that Turkish and Kazakh armoured vehicles would undergo experimental tests.
