Latvia confirmed that the Baltic state’s entire remaining Stinger stock would be transferred to Ukraine as quickly as possible.
The Latvian Ministry of Defence has ordered the RBS 70 NG ground-based air defence system and the Giraffe 1X radar from Saab. The first deliveries will take place in 2022.
The Baltic states will send “Stinger” and “Javelin” missile systems and various individual equipment to help Ukraine strengthen its defences. Estonia will provide Javelin anti-tank missiles, while Lithuania and Latvia will provide Stinger anti-aircraft missiles and adjacent equipment.
