AKSUNGUR long-endurance UCAV was spotted with ASELSAN’s ANTIDOT 2-U/EA 200 electronic warfare pod during the outdoor aircraft exhibition for the NATO summit.
TUSAŞ’s AKSUNGUR UCAV, with the longest endurance of any type in Turkish service, has received ASELSAN’s ANTIDOT 2-U/EA 200 electronic warfare pod, providing higher survivability against RF-based threats.
ANTIDOT 2-U/EA 200 was previously integrated on AKINCI and Bayraktar TB3 UCAVs of Baykar.
The pod mainly provides electronic attack capabilities to a higher degree than ASELSAN’s first pod in the UAV electronic warfare line, ANTIDOT 2-U/EA 1XX, thanks to its larger size.
The pod with an output of up to 1100 W is capable of multi-target jamming and spoofing against enemy radars as well as direction finding. ANTIDOT 2-U/ES 100 ESM pod with comprehensive passive detection capabilities that include threat location can work in conjunction with ASELSAN's medium EA pod for UAVs
AKSUNGUR can be considered an ideal UCAV for ISR and electronic warfare missions thanks to its extreme endurance of 50+ hours, alongside the 750+ kg payload capacity and 18 kW onboard power generation provided by the pair of PD170 turbodiesel engines.
