Havelsan shared information about its Kapgan heavy unmanned ground vehicle concept. The solution will also take its place in SAHA Expo 2022 event. Kapgan will debut for the first time for the visitors.Kapgan is equipped with a 30-millimetre gun. The weapon solution uses 113-millimetre cases, which provides effective firepower against light armoured vehicles, buildings, enemy fortifications, and other soft targets. It will have 2000 meters fire range.The system provides a flexible solution to the user thanks to its infrastructure. Kapgan can conduct autonomous patrol, GPS-independent tasks, dynamic route planning, returning to home when link loss and road analysis. The UGV is also capable of a joint operation with drones.
