Germany will be the fifth country to participate in the initial phase of multi-national cooperation. Finland, Latvia, and Estonia joined the program in 2019, with Sweden following in 2021. Patria is in charge of system development within the scope of the program.
According to Patria, with the mutual consent of the participating countries, the joint program is open to other countries with similar requirements. In August 2021, Latvia ordered more than 200 Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC), of which Patria has delivered more than a dozen. Finland signed a letter of intent for 160 APCs in August 2021, with pre-series deliveries beginning in June. Sweden signed an R&D agreement for the research and product development phase earlier this month.
