Spanish vehicle and land weapon system manufacturer EM&E Group presented its FEROX 6x6 armoured vehicle, which has its own turret and 30x113 mm chain gun and ATGMs.
FEROX was shown as a 6x6 vehicle with troop transport capacity and turret mount for significant firepower. The vehicle is part of an agreement between the Spanish company and the UAE-based EDGE Group, which created the parent design, the JAIS 6x6 armoured vehicle.
During IDEX 2025, an agreement was signed to modify and locally produce JAIS in Spain.
For FEINDEF’25, the vehicle was presented with the Guardian 2.0 Pro turret which can mount an M230LF 30x113 mm chain gun and up to four medium-range ATGMs. However, the vehicle can also use other Guardian series of RCWS, ranging from 5.56 mm to 30x173 mm. Outside gun-armed turrets, a 120 mm mortar can be mounted.
FEROX can carry up to nine personnel with a crew of three and reach a maximum weight of 27 tonnes. It is powered by a 600 hp engine and can reach a speed of 100 km/h. The armoured vehicle will be manufactured in Spain at EM&E Group’s facilities in Linares (Jaén).
