Bangladesh Air Force Received Fourth C-130J

The five ex-RAF ‘short-bodied’ C-130Js were ordered in two batches – in 2018 and 2019 – to replace Bangladesh’s ageing, second-hand C-130Bs. The first aircraft was delivered in August 2019. They will be used to transport troops and equipment, both home and abroad, as well as provide humanitarian assistance and support UN peacekeeping missions.

During the ferry flight, the aircraft made a refuelling stop in Cairo and Muscat. BAF has planned to receive the remaining aircraft within this year from the UK.
