Pentagon Suspends Deliveries of F-35 Engines
According to Defence News, upon the request of the US Defence Department, Pratt & Whitney has suspended deliveries of a new F135 engine for the F-35 Lightning II jets. The Pentagon requested it following an F-35B mishap on a Texas runway last December.

The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) told the magazine that deliveries of the new F135 engines had been discontinued on December 27. This decision is a joint agreement involving JPO, the Defence Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney.
