Lockheed Delivers First PrSMs
Lockheed Martin has completed the first Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) delivery to the U.S. Army.

The United States received the first batch of PrSMs. It is noted that the system produced under the Lockheed Martin contractor will provide a critical remote precision strike capability to the M142 HIMARS and M270 MLRS systems. In the statement, the missiles' importance for modernising the arsenal was also pointed out. With the PrSM, the effectiveness range has exceeded the 400-kilometre barrier.

In the statement made by the company, Augmented Reality (A.R.) and advanced modelling and simulation software are used in order to meet the Early Operational Capability requirements of the Land Forces.

The U.S. has provided a large amount of aid to the ongoing war in Ukraine. A significant portion of these are advanced weapon systems. In the process, not so long ago, it was reflected in the sources that the defenders suppressed the enemy positions with MGM-140 ATACMS and caused significant damage. At this point, it can be said that Washington has already saved recycling costs by giving the early-era missiles, which are nearing the end of their economical sustainable life, to Ukraine. On the other hand, it is difficult to determine what price Kyiv will be asked to pay for ammunition and further aid in the future. Ukraine is financially exhausted after losing essential mineral deposits and industrial zones to Russia. At the end of the day, although it is not yet known how the country will give the payment, it is evident that the U.S., which relieved the stocks before PrSM free of charge, has taken a position as the most profitable side, together with what it will demand.
