IAI to Provide Airborne SIGINT to an Undisclosed Country

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) announced the award of a contract to deliver airborne Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) systems to an international customer through its defence electronics subsidiary, ELTA Systems. The whole contract value, including system delivery and maintenance, will exceed $100 million. ELTA will provide SIGINT technology and aerial communications suites installed on manned and unmanned aircraft, respectively.
E/W will strive for Electromagnetic Spectrum Dominance. The systems are designed for Intelligence, Communications, and Electronic Warfare (EW) and offer a set of solutions. Supporting Electromagnetic Dominance entails providing forces with the ability to sense, communicate, and manoeuvre utilising the electromagnetic spectrum and detecting and denying the enemy's attempts to operate in this domain. IAI provides SIGINT systems, which include Communications Intelligence (COMINT) and Electronic Intelligence (ELINT), EW systems for self-protection and electronic attack, communications systems such as Line-Of-Sight, SATCOM, airborne networks, and tactical wideband communications, and multi-intelligence software for sensor data integration and exploitation using algorithms and artificial intelligence.
