Lentatek General Manager Öner Tekin pointed out that the fuel cell, which produces electricity from hydrogen, is a green energy source and contains more advanced technology than existing batteries. Öner Tekin stated that their technology demonstration UAV is fully powered by fuel cells. Tekin said that the biggest problem in unmanned electric systems is endurance. He noted that it is necessary to add batteries to increase the endurance time, which shortens the time due to the weight. Tekin said, “The fuel cell may overcome this paradox. We aim to develop this technology further and make it usable in bigger UAVs.”
