Turkiye is expanding and modernising its infrastructure with domestic products. New Eralp Early Warning Radar System is preparing for delivery to the Turkish Armed Forces.
President of the Turkish Defence Industry Agency (SSB), Professor İsmail Demir, attended the radar workshop and delivered a speech about electronic warfare and new indigenous radar system projects. According to Professor Demir, the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) phase is completed for the Eralp Transportable Early Warning Radar System.
Turkiye is expecting to deploy ÇAFRAD (Çok Amaçlı Faz Dizinli Radar / Multifunction Phased Array Radar) on new domestic naval vessels soon. Alp low-altitude detection radar system will also be delivered to the user soon. Turkish Air Force has taken delivery of Airport Traffic Radar as well.

New and modern radar infrastructures are providing strategic advantage thanks to detection without being detecting advantage, long-range command and control capability and tracking more platforms simultaneously. Turkiye is carrying out several domestic radar projects to enhance its infrastructure and replace foreign-origin systems with new, domestic and modern equipment.
