Delta V firm, which will serve in Turkey's space launch project, launched a test from Sinop on 14 May. The rocket carried a Hybrid Rocket Engine (HRE) as a payload. Paraffin wax + liquid oxygen-fuelled HRM, released into space at an altitude of 103 km, became the first hybrid Rocket engine to be test fired in space. There are similar Hybrid rocket propulsion technologies that other nations are working on. They are ground-launched. With this trial, Delta V company tried the operating performance of HRE in space conditions.
