President of Defence Industry Agency (SSB) Professor Ismail Demir stated that ASELSAN and Sefine shipyard’s joint project UASV Mir had launched a lightweight torpedo for the first time. The vehicle can launch MK44, MK46 and MK54 torpedoes. 

Turkish Engineers also develop Torpedo Tubes.

The Mir with torpedo tube was last seen at the TCG Anadolu commissioning ceremony last week. The Mir AUSV will perform swarm missions to provide the safety of the L400 mothership by patrolling the route in search of hostile activities. AUSV MİR Tests Torpedo Launch for ASW Mission
