President of Defence Industries Professor Ismail Demir stated that Aksungur UAV had saved lives. Demir announced from his social media accounts that TB2 and AKSUNGUR UAVs are serving in the struggle against the fire forest on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey.

Demir said that Aksungur was patrolling the fire area last night and notices three personal stuck in fires. Three personal are saved from the fire. Demir shared three pictures taken from Aksungur, where three personals were found.

Aksungur is a twin-engine UAV based on Turkish Aerospace's (TUSAŞ) ANKA UAV.
