USAF 31st Wing: From İncirlik to train HAF
The US Air Force (USAF) and Hellenic Air Force (HAF) conducted exercise INIOCHOS 21 at Andravida Air Base in Greece on 18 April. HAF sponsored the operational and tactical level field training exercise. Hellenic Air Tactics Centre (ATC) at Greece’s fighter weapons school hosted the drill.
USAF 31st Fighter Wing (31 FW) took part in the exercise. The 31 FW maintains two F-16 fighter squadrons, the 555th Fighter Squadron and the 510th Fighter Squadron, allowing the wing to conduct offensive and defensive combat air operations.
Last assignment of 31 Fw was in 2015 In July 2015, in İcirlik AB against the Islamic State of Iraq.
