Roketsan General Manager Murat Ikinci announced that the LEVENT Close-in Weapons System (CIWS) firing tests would begin soon. The self-defence system was unveiled at IDEF 2021. Making exclusive statements to TurDef, at MSPO in Poland, Roketsan General Manager Murat İkinci said, “LEVENT is a platform that our Armed Forces especially need. Since we need such a solution due to foreign embargoes, Roketsan is trying to implement such a project with its resources.
