Turkish Companies Compete at LIMA, Malaysia

With the support of the Malaysia Ministry of Defence and the Malaysia Ministry of Transport, LIMA will be held for the 16th time on the island of Malaysia Langkawi between 23-27 May 2023.

With the leadership of the Defence Industry Agency (SSB), LIMA will host SSI-Defence Industries Exporters’ Association on behalf of Türkiye, along with 18 defence industries companies;

ASELSAN, ASFAT Inc, DEARSAN, DESAN, HAVELSAN, KALE KALIP, KOÇ DEFENCE, METEKSAN, MİLSOFT, MKE Inc, ROKETSAN, SARSILMAZ, STM, TAİS, TEİ, TUSAŞ, TİMSAN, TİTRA.

During the Fair, 

there will be exhibitions and introductions of armoured vehicle platforms, manned or unmanned varied vehicles and aircraft, marine systems, weapon systems, electronic systems, ammunition, simulators, logistic support systems and defence services the Turkish defence industry companies produce.

LIMA Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition is aimed to provide a basis to develop and deepen the potential of cooperation with new projects between Turkish defence industry companies and countries participating in the exhibition.

The Turkish Committee will be led by the Vice President of SSB, Serdar Demirel. During the Fair, the official Turkish delegation will primarily hold meetings with the authorities of the hosting country-Malaysia and other participant countries’ delegations.

Malaysian Navy has opened LMS Batch 2 tender to acquire four vessels. Turkiye has two offers to Malaysia; MILGEM and C92 from DEARSAN. The other contestant is Damen group with SIGMA Class modular frigates.
