Due to the pandemic, industry promotion and export-targeted talks will take place in a virtual environment. Ministry of Trade, Turkey Exporters Assembly and the Presidency of Defence Industries support the meeting. The defence and Aviation Industry’s first virtual trade delegation will take place in a digital environment. Turkish and Brazilian companies will meet online. Turkey will attend the virtual event with 18 companies and Brazil with 46 companies.
Turkey’s exports to Brazil in 2020 increased by 286% and reached $5.7 million. In the January-March period of
2021, Turkey’s total defence industry exports increased by 327% compared to the same period of the previous year and reached $ 2.8 million. Virtual Sectoral Trade opening ceremony will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021, in Turkey, at 16.00. The program will be held on zoom, and Turkish and Brazilian company representatives will also
participate.
