Turkish Defence Ministry announced from its social media accounts that “Surface to Surface Guided Missile ATMACA was fired from land to a target in the sea for the first time with the Mobile Guided Missile System. The test firing in the Black Sea today was carried out successfully.”
Roketsan developed the ATMACA Anti-Ship Missile with Active Radar Frequency (RF) Seeker and delivered it to the Turkish Naval Forces this year. The company announced that it is working on variations of the ATMACA Missile IIR Guided version. Today’s test confirmed that a vehicle deployed at the seashore might launch a missile fire.
