The President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ersin Tatar commented on the negotiation process that will begin with Greek Cyprus at an online meeting with the members of the Association of Diplomacy Correspondents (Diplomasi Muhabirleri Derneği) hosted by the Journalists Association. Tatar also spoke about US' Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act”CAATSA.
Tatar stated that they were dissatisfied for US’ CAATSA sanctions on Turkey and said "America's injustice was done to us also".
