SSB prepares to produce 7.62 Gatling guns in Turkey. SSB will invite companies to join the Project. The winner will produce the weapon for the Turkish Armed Forces and special operations.

The 7.62 Gatling is also known as minigun. “Minigun” refers to a specific weapon model that General Electric originally produced. However, the term “minigun” has popularly referred to any externally powered rotary gun of rifle calibre. It is mostly mounted on the sliding doors of helicopters to provide security during the operation.
