ANATOLIAN EAGLE 2023 Exercise continues at the 3rd Main Jet Base Command in Konya where F-16, Typhoon, F-4, Su-25, KC-135, E-3, E-7T aircraft, AKINCI and ANKA-S UAVs attend the exercise.
Turkish demonstration aircraft SOLOTÜRK also participated in the exercise. In addition to demonstration flights, the aircraft was seen with ASELSAN’s SADAK-4T Smart Quad Rack, four TOLUN Miniature Bombs under the left wing, and LGK-82 Laser Guidance Kit integrated under the right wing. The Laser Guidance Kit is currently actively used by the Turkish Armed Forces and allied countries. SADAK-4T Smart Quad Rack and TOLUN Miniature Bomb are expected to take their place on the battlefield with different configurations.
It was seen that ASELSAN products were exhibited similarly in the briefing hall of the exercise. In addition to the equipment on the aircraft, the TOLUN IIR Guided Miniature Bomb was displayed here. This bomb will be effective against stationary targets as well as moving targets. In addition to the GPS/INS navigation system, TOLUN will have man-in-the-loop capability using the IIR Seeker.
This feature allows pilots to guide bombs. For this purpose, it is emphasized that the TOLUN IIR Guided Miniature Bomb will also have a bidirectional data link.
