Sikorsky Protests US Army’s FLRAA Decision at GAO

Lockheed Martin’s subsidiary Sikorsky has filed a formal protest with the US Government Accountability Office (GAO), requesting that the US Army reconsider its decision to award the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) contract to Bell Textron.

The army announced earlier this month that it had chosen Bell's V-280 Valor tiltrotor aircraft over Sikorsky and Boeing's Defiant X coaxial rotor solution.
