Poland Receives Second-hand AH-64E Apache Helicopters
Poland will receive eight second-hand AH-64E Guardian Apache attack helicopters from the US as an interim solution.

The Polish defence minister revealed that the US would transfer eight second-hand AH-64E Guardian Apache attack helicopters as a temporary solution. The US will transfer helicopters from US Army stocks until the first 96 new AH-64E Guardian Apache helicopters arrive. Poland declared the acquisition decision in September. The delivery of eight helicopters is expected to occur in 2024 and will be used mainly for training crews and technicians. The selection of the AH-64E Guardian Apache over the AH-1Z Viper was announced in September 2022.
