Nexter has the competence to design and manufacture 120 mm tank ammunition compatible with all Main Battle Tanks (MBTs) equipped with 120 mm smoothbore NATO cannons.This agreement also encourages local manufacturing to strengthen Indonesia's industrial capabilities. The signing of the cooperation was witnessed by officials from the Indonesian Ministry of Defence and the French Directorate General of Air Transportation.Pindad President Director Abraham Mose, after signing the cooperation, stated that Pindad is currently trying to complete the portfolio of medium to large calibre ammunition, not only small calibre ammunition that has been produced since the 1980s. Therefore Pindad collaborated with Nexter.
