Japan sends military equipment to Ukraine

The Japan Air Self-Defence Force (JASDF) has sent a KC-767 transport aircraft to Poland carrying military equipment, Tuesday (8/3/2022). The planes transported bulletproof vests, helmets, cold-weather suits.

The KC-767 is a military air tanker that can also function as a strategic transport aircraft. Japan chose the KC-767 in 2001. The competitor is the Airbus A310 MRTT. The signing of the purchase contract was carried out in Tokyo in 2003.
