Iraq Agreed with Turkish Autonomous Technology in Border Surveillance
The Iraqi government and the Turkish engineering and technology firm Otonom Teknoloji inked a partnership agreement. The deal calls for the company's Aerostat Systems to be exported as technology and investment.

According to Otonom Technoloji’s statement on its Linkedin account, an agreement was signed with the Iraqi Military Industry Delegation company at the "Industry Day" event held in Baghdad on October 2, 2021. Defence Industries President Professor İsmail Demir attended the ceremony.

The deal involves the manufacture of Aerostat surveillance equipment, particularly for border and terrorism operations.

It was also claimed that as a result of the agreement, research for technology transfer and industrial operations between the two countries had begun.
