President of Defence Industry Agency (SSB) Professor İsmail Demir and TUSAŞ CEO Professor Temel Kotil watched the maiden flight of Hürjet at TUSAŞ facilities.
The aircraft took off at 4:35 Zulu time and remained in the air for approximately 20 minutes. The aircraft reached almost 10 000 feet in altitude.
An F-16 fighter jet escorted Hürjet. The escorting aircraft confirms that the avionics function well and accurately.
