The Greek Cypriot government plans to sell its 11 Attack Mi35 attack helicopters to Serbia to procure 6+6 helicopters under a 300 million $ program. The programme has two parts; To overhaul Mİ35s to keep them on the air and acquire new helicopters. Tiger helicopters are the most expected candidate.

The Greek Cypriot Air Force Command acquired 12 helicopters in 2001 but lost one in 2006. Currently, 11 are in operational service and deployed at the 240th Squadron at Andreas Papandreou Air Base near Paphos. The helicopters lack good thermal optics and night operations capabilities.
