Germany Orders $2.90 billion worth of AMRAAM
U.S. State Department approved a 2.90 billion USD worth of AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM sales to Germany. The DSCA notified Congress of this possible sale on July 19th.

Germany has requested to buy up to 969 AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM); and up to 12 AMRAAM C8 Guidance Sections. The Defence Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) informed Congress about potential Foreign Military Sales. The estimated total cost is $2.90 billion.
Raytheon will be the principal contractor.
