France Renews its Fleet with Rafale F4
The French Air and Space Force will receive 42 new Rafale F4s as it sells second-hand Rafale F3s to Greece and Croatia.

The French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA-Direction Générale de l'Armement) placed an order with Dassault Aviation for AAE (Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace) with a contract value of up to 5 billion euros.

The French Air Force was flying with F3s fighters and had no intention of retiring or selling. The Force volunteered to give up its fleet but was promised to receive F4s immediately.

Dassault will deliver Rafale F4 aircraft to AAE between 2027 and 2030.
