Lockheed Martin has released a photo of the first F-16V Block 70/72 fighter to emerge from the significant assembly step in Greenville, South Carolina.

In April, Lockheed Martin moved its F-16 production line from Fort Worth, Texas, to Greenville, South Carolina. F-16 tooling and equipment were previously in the facility for depot sustainment work. The company began manufacturing F-16 Block 70 aircraft. The F-16 production in Greenville will enable Lockheed Martin to meet the international demand for new F-16s and increase F-35 production in Fort Worth, Texas.
