The Presidency of Defence Industries (Savunma Sanayii Başkanlığı/SSB) announced that the fifth F-16 Fighting Falcon is delivered to the Turkish Air Force.

SSB awarded Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ) the F-16 structural life-extension Project. The project aims F-16 Block 30 fleet to fly another 4 thousand hours, reaching 12 thousand flight hours. The project was signed in 2017 and started in 2018.

TUSAŞ covers all the necessary upgrade on the aircraft, and the Turkish Air Force accepts aircraft after inspection.
