Chief of Staff Mohamed Farid has recently visited Greece and signed a cooperation protocol on military education with his Greek counterpart Konstantinos Floros.

Egypt and Greece will organise joint exercises and will transfer expertise in the military field.

Egyptian General has also met Greek Defence Minister Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos. The Egyptian chief of staff focused on military and strategic cooperation between both countries, underlining the necessity of exchanging views over joint challenges and regional developments in the coming period.

The Greek minister expressed appreciation for the close ties between his country and Egypt, saying he looks forward to further cooperation to serve the peoples of both states.
