Draken International continues aircraft procurement activities. The company acquired 11 former Dutch F-16 Fighting Falcons. Aircraft became surplus equipment after the transition to F-35 Lightning II of the Royal Netherlands Air Force. Draken International is planning to use aircraft for training in aggressor roles. Jets will be temporarily stored at Charleroi Airport in a flight-worthy condition.Many private ventures procured fighter jets from their former users.
