Denmark Becomes 15th Carl-Gustaf M4 Customer

DALO's order makes Denmark the 15th customer for the M4 version.

Deliveries will take place in 2022. Saab has signed contracts for the recoilless Carl-Gustaf M4 system with fourteen different countries since its introduction in 2014.

The Carl-Gustaf M4 (CGM4), commonly known as the M3E1 in the United States Army, is the latest generation of multi-role anti-tank weapon systems of the Carl-Gustaf family. The Carl-Gustaf M4 system can fire a variety of 84mm calibre ammunition, including anti-armour, anti-structure, multi-role, anti-personnel, and support rounds. Carl Gustaf M4 ammunition has an effective range of up to 400 m against tanks and 700 m against buildings and stationary targets. Some ammo has a rocket booster to increase the range to up to 1,000 m.

Since the 1970s, the Danish Armed Forces have used Carl-Gustaf, also known as Dysekanon, throughout the country.
