Bayraktar TB2 completed 400 thousand flight hours
Turkish UAV manufacturer Baykar company’s Bayraktar TB2 UAV completed 400 thousand flight hours. The vehicle entered the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) inventory in 2014 and was armed in 2015. It is used at the Turkish Armed Forces, Gendarmerie General Command, General Directorate of Security and Intelligence. Bayraktar TB2 armed UAV has been actively working in the fight against terrorism in Turkey and abroad by the security forces since 2014.

Bayraktar TB2 is the first armed UAV system exported. TB2 is operated in different geographical and climatic conditions such as Turkey, Ukraine, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Morocco. The UAV accumulated all flights all over the world and reached 400 thousand hours of flight time. This duration made the armed UAV the longest-serving air platform.

Bayraktar TB2 UAVs and armed UAV gained combat-proven status with cross-border military operations. They were operational in Libya, Azerbaijan and Ukraine. On the other hand, the UAV also flies for civilian missions such as firefighting, coastal observation, fighting irregular migration.
