ASELSAN and TUSAŞ Sign Record-Breaking Modernisation Deal

ASELSAN and TUSAŞ signed two agreements regarding aircraft modernisation. The total agreement amount is 20 692 040 818 TL- and 1.197.381.949 USD.

ASELSAN has informed today Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) about two agreements signed with Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ) regarding aircraft modernisation. The contracts have been signed on 13.07.2023 valuing TL 2.618.751.172 TL and 132.078.069 USD and 18.073.289.646 TL and 1.065.303.880 USD total valuing 20.692.040.818 TL and 1.197.381.949 USD.

According to the agreements, the deliveries will be made between 2023 and 2033.

TUSAŞ will modernise Turkish F-16s with the Özgür project. The announcement does not state the project. Regarding the amount of agreement and delivery schedule, it can be assumed that the contracts are related to the Özgür Project.
