Spanish Armmo unveiled its ARW-39 CAT-A catamaran USV with Bandit-X interceptor UAVs and Unirobotics TRAKON 30 RCWS during the Eurosatory 2026 exhibition.
Unirobotics TRAKON 30 RCWS was displayed on a foreign naval platform for the first time during Eurosatory 2026 international defence exhibition. As reported by Infodefensa, Spanish firm Armmo unveiled its ARW-39 CAT-A USV, fitted with the 30x113 mm RCWS and Bandit-X interceptor UAVs to support C-UAS missions. The interceptor UAVs have also been developed by Armmo.
Another USV that TRAKON 30 has been integrated on is Turkish SEFİNE-ASELSAN’s MARLIN USV in anti-surface warfare configuration that also includes four ÇAKIR compact cruise missiles.
ARW-39 CAT-A USV measuring 12 m in length is designed to be deployable from full-size warships including frigates and can carry up to 1200 kg of equipment. The USV can reach a maximum speed of 50 knots thanks to waterjet propulsion.
TRAKON 30 RCWS
TRAKON 30 has the heaviest firepower in the TRAKON line of RCWS developed by SYS Group subsidiary Unirobotics, using the VENOM LR 30x113 mm revolver cannon. Thanks to the compact large-calibre weapon, TRAKON 30 has been demonstrated at ranges up to 1700 m.
VENOM LR revolver cannon used by the RCWS features a low firing rate and burst fire settings, with the firing rate between 200 RPM and 1200 RPM.
The RCWS is prominent with its potential for C-UAS use with proximity fuse ammunition (Kuzgun Tech recently displayed a locally developed proximity fuse at SAHA EXPO for localisation) and optional EchoGuard MESA radar from Echodyne.
SYS Group previously unveiled its AFV-based C-UAS concept for mobile force protection using TRAKON 30 fitted with EchoGuard and the more capable Echoshield. The ammunition load is a mix of HE-I and proximity fuse types fired in bursts to handle small to large UAVs.
