TÜBİTAK SAGE’s UAV Version KGK SIHA 82 Unveiled
Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ) UAV Aksungur has tested TUBİTAK SAGE’s KGK (Wing-Assisted Guidance Kit) UAV version at Sinop. The new KGK is named KGK SIHA 82 as SIHA represents UCAV. President of Defence Industries, Prof İsmail Demir, announced the development at an online meeting and the day after released press bulletin. The new version KGK SIHA 82 has a new algorithm designed for UCAV. The 350 kg payload may fly more than 30 kilometres. The KGK SIHA is planned to reach further distances under optimum conditions.
The KGK released from Aksungur UCAV yesterday hit the target at a 30 km distance with 2.5-meter accuracy.
