About Milipol Qatar Milipol Qatar is the leading international exhibition dedicated to homeland security in the Middle East. It takes place every two years (even-numbered years) in Doha. The 11th edition of the show will be held from 29 to 31 October 2018 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). The worldwide exhibition of homeland security – Milipol – has been organized for the first time in 1984 in Paris and occurs every odd-numbered year. In 1996, the State of Qatar chose the Milipol trademark for its international references to launch an event dedicated to homeland security in the Middle East. The Milipol Qatar exhibition is being held under the authority of the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.E. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani. A Milipol Qatar Committee is responsible for the organisation of the event in Doha in close relationship with the Milipol team based in Paris. In 2016, the show welcomed: 230 exhibitors from 35 countries 6,538 security professionals from 103 countries 246 official delegates representing 35 countries 182 journalists The event is known for the professionalism and the quality of attendees, for showcasing the latest innovative products and services and for covering all fields of public and industrial security. Milipol Qatar provides access to security markets in the entire region and enables key international industry players to meet in a fast-developing environment with medium- to long-term economic and strategic projects.
