Turkey considers the engine deal for the Gezgin cruise missile to be completed. Ukraine based Defense Express magazine has written that the Ukrainian SE Ivchenko-Progress would develop an AI-35 engine for Turkey.
The engine model was stated by Tymofiy Mylovanov, former Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine in the government of Oleksiy Honcharuk. He had stated that SE Ivchenko-Progress would develop an AI-35 engine for Turkey, which would be based on AI-305.TurDef, however, learned that Motor Sich proposes an MS400 small size turbofan engine to Turkey.
