The Ukrainian development team, led by Oleksandr Kuznetsov and Streit Group specialists, created a hybrid multifunctional armoured car that runs on an electric motor and is capable of floating.
The vehicle is called “Storm”, and it can withstand a wave of up to 1.5 meters. The storm can reach a speed up to 140 km / h in desert conditions. The battery provides energy from 18 to 36 hours. A diesel generator recharges the electric battery on the road. This car can be used to transfer landing, support the coast guard, transport cargo, provide medical care.
Developers began working on a prototype in Kyiv two years ago. Then the team moved to the UAE and established a partnership with defence company Streit Group.,
Developers are happy with foreign partners as even a prototype could not be created alone in Ukraine, they think.
