Turkiye Broke its Defence and Aviation Export Record: 4.084 billion USD

Turkiye increased industry export volume. Turkish Defence and Aerospace Industry Exporters' Association (SSI) shared the data for the January-November 2022 period. Turkiye’s defence and aviation exports broke their limit by reaching 4.084 billion USD as of December 18th.

Overall, the defence and aviation industry export volume has increased from USD 2.8 billion to USD 4.084 billion. The sector had targeted reaching USD 4 billion in 2022. The export value rate of Turkish defence products shifted by 35.7%. The increase rate makes the defence and aviation industry the second biggest after olive and olive oil exports.
