The July exports of the Turkish defence and aviation sector reached $430 million 964 thousand in exports in July 2024. According to the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) data, the Turkish defence and aviation sector realised $430 million 964 thousand in exports in July 2024. Thus, the sector's total exports in 2024 increased by 9.4 per cent compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching $3 billion 314 million 632 thousand.
With this figure, the exports realised in the last 12 months increased by 13.4 per cent reaching $5 billion 831 million.
The Turkish defence and aviation sector had surpassed its previous record by realising $5 billion, 545 million, and 622 thousand in exports in 2023.
