President of Defence Industries (SSB) Professor İsmail Demir participated in the symposium online and announced that they would merge the companies and establish a satellite company. Demir said in sum, “Our satellite company will be formed by the merger of companies with various capabilities. Of course, several subjects include satellite, optics, space law, space meteorology, space dynamics, and space material. We expect the existing universities and research institutions in Turkey to carry out these studies simultaneously. These efforts need to be coordinated. We all need to have a share in this journey. In this process, it is important to carry out studies and strategies on the intellectual level as well.”
