According to the report announced by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), the exports of the Defence and Aerospace Industry sector in 2021 exceeded two billion USD. The sector's exports, which amounted to 284 million 722 thousand USD last month, broke a record with 302 million 549 thousand USD in April. The sector's exports decreased by 10.3% in September compared to the same period of the previous year.
According to TİM, the sector's total exports between January 1 and September 30 of 2020 were 1 billion 520 million USD. The sector's exports increased by 38.7% between January 1 and September 30, 2021, compared to the same period of the previous year, and reached 2 billion 109 million USD.
