The Defence Industry Executive Committee (SSIK) convened yesterday under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The statement made after the meeting stated that the issues related to adding new domestic and national systems to the Turkish Armed Forces and security units were discussed.
The meeting was held at the Presidential Complex. According to the statement, “Various projects related to electronic warfare and radar systems, communication and information systems, ammunition and missiles, various platforms, unmanned land vehicles, equipment, modernization and new technologies have been decided. At the meeting, attention was drawn to the importance of inter-institutional coordination to strengthen our defence industry ecosystem further.”
