TÜBİTAK SAGE’s HGK-84 ammunition has installed the same institution’s global positioning system receiver KÂŞİF. The performance of the positioning system receiver was tested on HGK-84. The ammunition hit the target with pinpoint accuracy. 

HGK-84 is a GPS/INS guidance kit that converts existing 2000 lb Mk-84 general-purpose bombs and penetrator bombs into air-to-ground smart bombs. KÂŞİF is a military-grade GNSS receiver for Guided for Missile Systems, which TÜBİTAK SAGE developed. TÜBİTAK SAGE developed the multi-constellation GNSS receiver’s RF, electronic hardware, software and algorithmic designs.
